About Us

Who We Are

QIYAS is a university project team exploring innovative solutions to industrial safety challenges. Ruya represents our vision for how emerging technologies, VR, cloud computing, and robotics, can work together to reduce human exposure to hazardous environments.

Our team combines skills in VR development, cloud architecture, robotics programming, and system integration to create this proof-of-concept teleoperation platform. Through Ruya, we're demonstrating how existing technologies can be integrated into a cohesive system that addresses real-world safety concerns in industries like oil & gas, chemical manufacturing, and confined space inspection.

Practical Innovation

We focused on integrating proven technologies (AWS, Firebase, Agora, ROS) rather than reinventing the wheel. Ruya shows how existing tools can be combined creatively to solve complex problems.

User-Centered Experience

Technology should be intuitive. We've designed the VR interface to be accessible to users without extensive technical training, demonstrating that advanced systems can still be user-friendly.
